yep we had to get a medical too. I heard a blood group test was required as well but mine went through OK without it.

they took some blood and my blood pressure and that was it.

400baht and 20minutes is all it cost me.

ouch! mine was 240 baht and about 20 minutes

I thought this was done every two years? perhaps every renewal now? Does that apply to all WPs or only to teachers?

The current WP.5 rules (renewal) state under point 5 that a medical check is required. This rule is strictly enforced by Labour in our province.

I just renewed my Non-Immigrant B Visa and Work Permit...and the medical had to be done prior. It was basically blood draw, blood pressure check, and the doctor asked a few questions. Pretty simple process.

    :welcome to TT

I renewed my work permit for working in an OHEC institution in November 2013. One change, they wanted a copy of my marriage certificate.
