Yup. Applied for my second in April 2016 as officially it has to be done 180 days in advance. I started a thread about the renewal. Have a look in the licensing forum.

Stamp, could you please add my name to the list of licenced teachers?
"Chuffed to death" doesn't half describe it :)

Second visit to TCT and although last year they told me that master degree is enough and they have issued a 4th waiver with only Master degree, a new "cheek" on the office asked me for the bachelor degree... I don't think that I will get the licence soon...:angry4

    Thanks a lot!

Just to add a bit of info, I obtained the teacher licence after completing the Framingham master's program. Oh.... and landed a job at an international school as a result!

Besides the masters degree was your bachelor degree requested by TCT. I am pretty sure that the application paper indicates "Bachelor or higher" and not "Bachelor and higher". Thanks and sorry for the :offtopic

Yes, it was... and they checked it meticulously for that matter.

    Thanks ;)

I couldn't agree more - to be perfectly honest, I went for this Master's program as it was my most realistic route to a Thai teacher licence, not because I was looking for a job at an intl. school. However even before I received the famous gold card, this school made me an offer I couldn't refuse LOL :)

They want to see the bachelor and a PGCE, Grad Dip Ed or MEd if bachelor isn't ed major. Tefl and Celta certs don't make the cut.

Yes my impression is that if you have Master Degree and PGCE, bachelor is not in need I got my 4 waivers with showing only the Master.
