Everyone knows who I work for. Where do you work/for whom do you work?

    I work there.

They have just fired 3 teachers and the big-boss-man from Prathom left this month, back to the land of the free and home of the brave.

Yes, the teachers do a good job there ( Including myself...lol) But there are some issues also.

I am willing to bet that there are issues in every school in Thailand. There is no perfect place to work unfortunately.

big changes then. we've just gone through it. twice (the first one didn't last 2 months..). Still unsure if the 2nd one is better or worse...

I dig that. And I'd also say there are no perfect teachers. Does your school expect you to be perfect?

Somehow I think my school's view of 'a perfect teacher' is very different to how I would view "a perfect teacher".

    Hi Robin

Hope you got your issues sorted there. Can you elaborate, by PM if necessary, as I'm looking to move to the 'sister' school during the upcoming hiring season. I'd hate to up sticks only to be fired for a political or otherwise spurious reason.

    Cheers. :wai3:

My issues are sorted, not entirely to my satisfaction but I know where I stand.

The M school I really don't know, we have nothing to do with them. It's an entirely different building.

But I will say that they only have a small amount of students because it's not rated very well by the students' parents. Whether it's the teachers or the admin, who knows?

After leaving us in Prathom, many children go to other schools for the M levels.

The Matyhom school does start at 50k though.

Sounds like the Sarasas school near my school. We get a lot of their prathom students.

Care to name & shame, at least the 'area'? At ours we get the 'dregs' that nobody else will touch. Still, I do enjoy the challenge. :happy1:

Did they have a lot of students in past years? Are they on the way out due to lack of student numbers?
