About ten days ago, I bought DTAC sim cards (thanks for the heads up received here). My passport was photographed. But a few days ago, I couldn't top up.

This time, the staff activated them with their own phone (and details??).

Then I couldn't find the metal "sledge" for the sim cards in both tablets.
    Mmm.

Q: where might I get those inserts? I bought the tablets for $ 46 on Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectibles, Coupons and More | eBay in the USA. A Youtube video shows they take 2 sim cards as is customary for Chinese cell phones.

Is it possible that the metal "sledge" is just a fancy adaptor to use a smaller SIM card in a full-size SIM card slot? If so, pretty much any phone shop should be able to provide a plastic replacement.
