Sixth day today of pollution over 300 aqi and most days over 400-500. Thank god my school and classroom have a good air purifier. School hasn't been cancelled, but the kids can't go outside for recess.

    Thank you for sharing.

I'm so fucking happy happy happy that I'm going to spend a week in Bangkok instead of Beijing.

An online student tried to warn me. He returned to Beijing after driving across the USA. He came home to find that his wife had been phoning another man and deleted the calls from her phone. I don't I'm going to have a guide.

How long are you going to stay in Smogville?

    ^Thanks for replying.
Beijing isn't always as bad as this. Usually it can be a bit bad in November when the coal heat comes on. I have never seen a winter as bad as this one in three years. Usually we get one or two bad days in a row, but never seven. I don't know why people don't revolt.. okay I know why, but it is frustrating all the same.

I'm here until mid June, and then hopefully off to greener pastures. I have no regrets here, but time to move on.

^I am mid-June..but may be staying in China. The pollution is slightly less in Shanghai, and if I can survive Beijing, I can survive Shanghai, eh. TY for your reply... must get back to report cards, ugh!
