I need backup for my wifi devices. A few hours' use and 500 MB should suffice. Any deals you might recommend?

I asked a student whether he might buy me a discounted sim card with his student ID? (Life's tough on my sub 30 k salary)

If it's just for very occasional backup use, with DTAC I don't think you need to spend any minimum amount per month, whereas AIS have a validity period which means you have to keep topping up to keep it active.

If it's only for a small number of MB, you might not even want an internet package/addon, just check the rate per MB (or possibly per minute) and only keep it topped up with as much as you want to use at the most.
