Am getting swamped with such spam messages involving Amazon, Apple, Paypal and countless banks.

This morning's example: [ PayPal ] Statement account be is available log in to re-active

I dread the fallout once these perps learn to use proper English. :cursing

You are right to identify this problem. From their point of view, they have nothing, but an email sent to a million addresses will find a sucker.

If I were in their shoes, I would be a hacker or do phishing too.

The truth about online activity is there for all of us to see. You need not of worked for a government to see it.

All online activity is dangerous. The iPhone and Android devices are unsecurable. Remarks complete.
