    Hello everyone

I came over from ajarnforum. I was not such a regular poster there, because I am not Thailand based.

I do often visit for work, and most years visit the Thai Tesol conference. I am interest in teaching in general, so I look forward to learning more about the teaching situation in Thailand.

    Chhers

    Thank you Sage,

I was more of a lurker, and only posted in the classroom sections.

    Happy holidays

    Cheers

Welcome Peter, do not need to be Thailand based to share on here. We have old hands in China, USA and the desert who contribute in many ways. Enjoy TT, share knowledge and news from where you are working.

Sorry, I don't follow you (unless you were asking if I use Capricious as my username on ajarnforum, to which the answer would be no, I used PeterEFL).

    Cheers

    (ohayo Peter -Welcome to TTA!

It would be a pleasure to invite you to turkey filled with Bratwurst & Sauerkraut, but this Christmas is canceled.

We couldn't shoot wild turkeys this year, as it seems they became an endangered species, so Somtham will replace the feast meals.

Are you really in Japan, or is it an IP changing program?

Akemashiteomedet┼Źgozaimasu ( god, how do these people say that? Happy New Year in Japanese)

    Cheers

    Hello sirchai

    Thanks for the welcome.

Turkey is a bit inconvenient to get here in Japan also, so we went with chicken and steak.

And yes I'm in Japan, And I don't know why anyone would bother with an IP changing program to say they're in Japan. I think I would pick up more exotic location, like Bangkok. Ha ha. By the way, akemashita o medito gazaimasu, is only said after the new year (Jan 1 onwards)

    Until dec 31

    (Dozo) yoi otoshi o

    Cheers

    Peter

Capricious was a teacher in Japan who used to post on AF. He quit posting awhile back though. I thought you might have be him.

    Welcome.,
