If you're talking about the cambo visa you can get it online and print it. It gets stapled in, when the trip is done you can throw it away. You still get a couple in out stamps but save a page. I haven't done this but my friends have on bike trips ad they said it worked well.

Are you sure the boys at immigration wont get pissed off at discarding their precious countries visa?
I had a friend (really!) who took out the stick in one (not leaving a trace) and when he went through the officer asked where the visa was. Busted.
They made his sit there and write a letter of apology to the 'country'.
Trouble is in Asia it all depends on the mood of the guy (or gril)

When did your friend remove the visa?
    Before he exited the country?

My wife and I both had stickers with "flaps" on them when we visited Malaysia. Those flaps have long since fallen off. I don't think that it would be a problem on a future visit, but I thought about your friend's cambo visa.

That had to hurt, being made to apologize to a state hip-deep in crime and corruption.

That is a lot of good, useful, and detailed information.

"Borer crossing" ? Either their English is poor or they have an accurate understanding of us and a nice sense of humor.
