Last Friday I received my 4th waiver, based on the fact that (after 6 years) I still work for the same school and I am also currently attending the Ifugao DipTEd course. So, even if nothing else than that, this course is definitely worth something while you are teaching in Thailand and having to deal with the arrant Khurusapha.
Congrats from lower northeast !!!!!
What would make me even happier is that the next application by someone who wasn't as committed as yourself was refused
I've seen some fake degrees where Khurusapha issued a license. One guy graduated in 1914......
And there's no chance to get any information from a university in the Philippines either.
The way I see it, they would even issue a 5th and 6th when you stay at the same school.
I'm sure what you have seen and the powers that be are in agreement
The unlicensed will sleep easy on these words
Re on the previous messages on the school being accredited by KURUSAPA to get the 5 year permanent teaching licence,
It seems to me that there is no definite answer...
I was at both IFUGAO bangkok and KURUSAPA office a few days ago (the same day), the school saying that there was no problem on the accreditation.
However reception lady at KURUSAPA said that it was Ok for now but not sure "in the future". What has to be understood there?
I would like to attend the school before my waiver expiration
Thanks for the responses
All you need is a letter from them that you've started the course. Here's the lady's e-mail address, her name's Grace.: firstname.lastname@example.org
Another way to get that a little bit faster would be to send an e-mail to Vladimer who seems to be somehow related to Grace. Here's his e-mail address: Just saw that he's using two e-mail accounts: email@example.com and
P.S. My hotmail account showed me a weird warning regarding the second address of the guy. It showed that the guy might not be for real and other stuff I've never seen before. Use both addresses.
Please be aware that you usually never get a reply from Grace, so it might be a good way to get in touch with both.
I've also done the course, started already last year in January and they immediately issued a document stating that I'm enrolled in this DIP TEd course.
Should you have any questions you don't want to discuss on an open forum, please do not hesitate to send me a private message.
And welcome to the club.
Thanks for the answer,
I will get in touch with Mr Vladimer asap.
As long as the school offers decent courses in terms of quality and leads to a permanent license, that is good.
Also, does that document grant you extra waivers (3rd waiver and.... 4th waiver)?
3rd and 4th waiver? Are you really asking me if you could just hold on a letter that you've signed up for the course, but finally don't attend it? Please clarify.
If you want to apply for your 3rd waiver or provisional teacher's license, and you've got the letter of enrollment, they'll give you another two years which is long enough to complete the course and then apply for the full license.
