Just a trivia question guys... Or maybe a new thread for advises or ways to see our team's games on the World Cup, live from Brasil!

Well, there's always online live commentary, is there not? That's enough for me.

The National Council of Peace and Order (NCPO) has requested RS Plc to put on air all World Cup matches which is scheduled to kick off Friday, Daily News reported.

According to Daily News, the NCPO head Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha asked that the football matches be on air on the Army’s Channel 5 and 7 with reason of returning happiness to the Thai people.

RS executive was reported to have agreed to the request and the NCPO and RS might have a press conference on the matter today.

The returning of happiness move came as the Supreme Administrative Court is set to have a ruling Wednesday at 1.00 p.m. on whether all World Cup 2014 matches are required to be televised live across free TV channels.

It truly was not a joke. What I posted I found on Thai PBS...if I remember correctly.

Now we now that the request was not honored and "free TV" will only have 22 matches from what I understand. Something to do with the FIFA contract is what I can make out...I guess the junta is not all powerful in the LOS.

My plan is to double up on the ear plugs at the office, stay off the internet, and download the matches.

Not losing sleep over inability to see grown men kick a ball about thousands of miles away on a television no less.

Never understood obsession with team sport. Especially when most players hail from hundreds if not thousands of miles from the team's home location lol. Ridiculeshneshesses.

I have zero interest in soccer so a blackout will not bother me.
