    Welcome.

Is there anything you'd care to share about yourself?

Thanks all...re a bit of sharing...

well after a lifetime of globetrotting I settled in Thailand a few years ago,

I'm tempted to say my moniker derives from being a Mississippi mafioso, but the eponymous city is that of the dreaming spires,

re footie, in my salad days I spent a few Saturdays at Charlton Athletic, and even fewer at West Ham, though I did live opposite the Gunners ground for a year,

as far as I can tell from perusing the various threads here I'm the oldest person on the forum, though not necessarily the goodest, to misquote M Jagger.

This forum is without doubt the most civilised English-language forum in Thailand and, as far as teaching in Thailand is concerned, by far the most knowledgeable,

    good on y'all.

I wanted to drive to Vietnam, but you can't take a Thai car to Vietnam. Would surely be a nice trip.
