    Generally docile

Water buffalo are generally docile, but I have seen the odd one upset….. look out hen that happens!

They do have buffalo fighting in the south. I went to one in Koh Samui years ago. I guess they are still held there. It is buffalo v buffalo. The one that turns and flees is the loser. It can take a bit of stopping….. the winner holds its ground.

Thai people don't push motorcycles with a flat tyre. They ride to the next repair shop; a bit tricky, but with lifelong motorcycling skills it is doable, even if it is at the cost of a new tube, and maybe a tyre. They only push if they have run out of fuel.

110cc is too weak for traveling around. I also own 110cc (Kawasaki KSR) and I wouldn't recommend it for long distances.

Next time rent something stronger, above 250cc (Yamaha Fazer etc.)

Good advise Andy, but I think after a year he would have made it back by now.
