Hi everyone! Someone I know is trying to get a teaching job at a University here in Thailand based on his Rochelle University "degree." It cost him $400 and came in the mail in a week (from the Middle East).

Is there a way that a Thai administrator can look up a list of fake schools so that applications based on fake schools can be denied?

I have told him not to submit that diploma mill degree he got from UAE. But I think he is going to go ahead anyway. The Thai people at the school are very nice and trusting. I am worried.

How illegal is it to use a diploma mill degree? What can I do to help my University keep out the bad apples?

    Thanks!
