Sorry. Forgot to check earlier. I've got LINE now so I got the answer almost immediately today. :)
My friend got his rebate some time in April. He got it via the post. It was a cheque (102 baht only). This was last year.
This year, his wife(a Thai) got hers just last week. She had to go to the tax office to check some stuff because it was a lot.

    Hi everyone,
I've been at the same school now for four years with a work permit.
My school hasn't mentioned anything about tax.
    Should I be worried??

The renewal of your non b visa is dependent (or should be) on the presentation of a tax receipt from your local tax office. If it has not been mentioned then I'm guessing you have no need to worry.

A word of caution however, when you leave your current school for better things or your next challenge this may well bite you in the butt. My own personal advice is to ask (knowing that asking may well result in you having to pay extra)
