    I've done that.

We left Bangkok on December 31, 1983 and arrived Taipei that afternoon.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn and departed on the morning of January 1, 1984 and landed at LAX December 31, 1983.

    FLUX capacitor!!!

I saw Back To The Future with my first wife in Fullerton, California.

We also saw Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie in Labryinth as part of that double feature.

I've done New Year's Eve in Bangkok, and then flown to Los Angeles CA to do New Year's eve with my parents. That was back when Thai Airways did a non-stop to Los Angeles.
