A friend who just had his waiver renewed down in Bangkok mentioned to me that KSP is now issuing 4 waivers total per person instead of only 3. Has anybody else heard this? Maybe things are getting a little relaxed now?

Not per se. New waivers are issued when changing jobs.

1 of my waivers was about 2 months long .

was on my 2nd waiver before I even heard about waivers. at which point I set about studying for and sitting the tests. I didn't take all 4 at once as I wanted to study for 2 each time giving me a greater chance of passing. Unfortunately everything changed before I had sat (and passed) all 4.

    Same as Po.
Was on a second when I learned about the thing. Then the second became a first due to the TCT "reboot".
A second "second" was obtained by a school without me knowing it and without a signed contract (?).
Even if I never did any work or started any contract with that school, I still have a "pending" waiver stating that I work for them (sic). Funny thing is: it is mark as being my first waiver as this infamous school could not spelled my name correctly .

    Madness you said? :D

My friend from Immigration gave me an American's contract, not knowing that this guy's a friend.

It's a contract example what a school has to write to employ you as a trainer. Crazy? Nope, it's Thailand.

I once received a Receipt of Notification from the Immigration with the copy of the passport from of a Filipino dude on the back :thumbs up.

This kind of thing still surprised me after 10 years here but I think we are digressing a bit :celebrate2.
