Cocaine worth more than £50 MILLION stuffed in holdalls found washed up on Norfolk beaches
The incredible discovery was made this morning after a number of bags washed up on Hopton Beach near Great Yarmouth and on another shore near Caister

Cocaine worth more than £50 MILLION has been found washed up in holdalls on two Norfolk beaches.

Organised crime cops are now probing the dramatic find after a member of the public opened the bags and found packages of white powder inside.

The holdalls were discovered near Great Yarmouth - some washed up on Hopton Beach yesterday with a smaller number found near Caister today.

In total, around 360 kilos of cocaine was discovered and remains on the beaches as police investigate.

The National Crime Agency said it is not yet known how the massive haul found its way ashore.

Matthew Rivers, from the NCA’s border investigation team, said: “We are now working with Border Force, the Coastguard Agency and Norfolk Police to try and establish how the bags ended up where they did, however it is extremely unlikely that this was their intended destination.

"This is obviously a substantial seizure of class A drugs, and its loss will represent a major blow to the organised criminals involved.”

Oh boy. There seems to be a shortage of coke. Coca-Cola should be more careful and watch their stuff.

    Yeah, no kidding, eh.
It would have been nice to find money in those bags instead.

It would certainly be money for a Thai cop.
